Frances Dinkelspiel is an accomplished speaker who has delivered more than 200 talks at respected institutions around the country, including the Bancroft Library, the Huntington Library, the California Historical Society, and at the ALOUD program at the Los Angeles Public Library as well as at numerous synagogues and Jewish community centers.
Her topics include the early history of Los Angeles, the role the Jews played in the building of California, and the role Jews played in making both San Francisco and Los Angeles. Dinkelspiel can also talk about the early California wine industry and the role Jews played in the wine business.
